Useful app crippled by a gimmicky UI

The app offers good functionality, but has unnecessary UI gimmicks that make it almost unbearably slow on anything older than an iPhone 5. Switching between panels, or the map is dog slow because of a folding paper effect that is silly and useless. The app would be five star without it.
